I tried this bourbon at Bourbon's Bistro the other day. I found it to be better than the first batch, but still pretty metallic and grainy. The extra year's age helped, but not $90.00 worth of help in my opinion. Still, I applaud Brown-Forman for trying new products and look forward to their next experimental product.
There was an article in yesterday's Courier-Journal about the new high priced "ultra-premium" bourbons that was interesting. It discusses the 4 Grain bourbon as well as other such products. You might want to check out the C-J's website and read the article. It discusses how these products create interest in the establihed, lower cost products, giving the whole industry a lift.
