In 1912, Col. E H Taylor, Jr. sent a box of Carpe Diem Cigars to all of his business friends. I am not familiar with these and wonder if these are considered a good gift.

Sorry Mike, but I have never heard of that brand. My guess would be that they were rolled down in Miami's "Little Havana". Given the year of 1912 the sticks could even have contained some Cuban grown leaf in it's blend, but that is pure conjecture on my part.
