I am currently a film major at Temple University and am in the process of putting together a piece for a final project this semester. My topic is on the old Kinsey Distillery in Limerick where I grew up. This place has always fascinated me each time I visit what is left of it. A few months ago, I became interested in the real story of this place, not just the fun in exploring it. It has been fairly difficult to find a lot of the information about it, but I have begun to find helpful information here. I would like to know if anyone could supply me with a fairly efficient history of this distillery and share any artifacts they have collected over the years. Also, it would be greatly appreciated if anyone would be willing to conduct any interviews to be placed into this project. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I look forward to hearing back!
Thank You.
Wish I would have been here but Last year did not do any writting Here, But if you need any Information about Publicker and Kinsey Distillery send me an e amil through here and I WILL GET BACK TO YOU I will soon be posting some Pictures again too.
PS Ellen J thanks for the Kind words, would Love to write a book about Kinsey but would need some Professional Help and some Money to spend to do it.
Here is a Picture of two of 3 Explosion Proof Floor Lamps I have built from parts from Kinsey. A floor Lamp made from sealing lamp with a 1930's Explosion proof switch and a caged red emergency explosion proof Light mounted on a old Goose Neck pipe from the plant, with its own red Pilot light and switch.
