ima drinking some now! Very Booker's like or Bookerish if you perfer. But with a much better finish.
Very deep mahogony-hued amber.
Soft mouthfeel and good hearty mouth-coating body. Perfect.
The nose is
HUGE! Honey and Molassas sing a sweet soprano duet, with sweet charred oak in the tenor. The vanilla harmonizes as a deep baritone. This is unusual as vanilla is usually an alto in most bourbons.
Taste - The flavor lays thick upon the tongue. A tad more tannic than is the vatted Knob Creek. There is a certian 'slickness'. Sweet vanilla and candy tones swirl around the mouth in a "Hallelujah Chorus". Glorious!
Finish - Long; sweet, and uplifting! Angelic in timbre, with the late arrival of devils food cake, or bourbon brownies.
Overview - These special single barrel bottings of Knob Creek are nothing short of spectacular! ima gonna buy more!
