Here's a shot of Mike, handing over some of the booty...

From the left, it's Preston VanWinkle, Magic Mike and Gayle (am I spelling that right?)

The weather was great, the patio was perfect!

Kathy (Dave's wife) is on the right in the blue shirt. Counterclockwise is Michael (Dave and Kathy's son), Julian, Larry and Flaget Nally, Mary Hite, Preston, Gayle and Martha's hair...

The real suprise was to have Mike Hack do some fantastic feats of illusion for us as added entertainment. He was too modest to admit that he is a professional magician in California but his brother spilled the beans and the show began

Whoohoo! Was that a hoot or what? I would love to have taken more photos while that was going on, but I assisted several times...
I'm still trying to figure out how he didn't rip that damn jacket. I was STANDING RIGHT BESIDE HIM HOLDING THE JACKET! Looked to me like he put a hole in it, but the jacket was untouched. Amazing!! If you ever get the chance, by all means, beg him to show you!

And here's a shot of him trying to make the check disappear...

Daggonit, I wish y'all had been there too!
We raised a glass to the Bourbon Brotherhood that couldn't make the trip. Actually, we raised it several times...

Brendaj, if possible, we want to see a picture of all y'all raising a toast to all us.

P.S. Not that we doubt that you have time to think about us!!

Brenda, Mike & all BE brothers/sisters:

Fill us in on the "straight" dope regarding events/festivities/gatherings/parties/tours///etc.

We wish we were there too, but there will be barrel rolling tomorrow afternoon down Van Brunt Street in Red Hook Brooooklyn NY, where we're gonna do a NY style Fest! We too will have a drink (or 20) in honor of our compadres! :salute:  :occasion7: :partyman:  :yay:

Well Folks, here's the deal. I haven't attended squat but the dinner... . I woke up Friday morning to an inch of water all over my kitchen floor. My hot water heater had sprung a leak. I've been mopping my a** off (and that my friends, is a heap 0 moppin'... ) trying to keep it off my carpets until the plumber could get here. He's here as I type.

So, I didn't make it to the barrel rolling championship (and I love that). But, I expect to make it to the distiller's auction. The Amazing Rhythm Aces played last night, and I missed that... The Kentucky Headhunters play tonight, I'm hoping to see that.
I'm bummed,
Bj
