Another very brief scotch timeline.


Scoresby Scotch

1964 - Highland Distillers Corporation introduces Scoresby
Scotch in the United Ststes (Chris Morris Memo,
2/10/93).

1981 - First regional outdoor advertising for Scoresby appears
(Chris Morris Memo, 2/10/93).

1982 - First Scoresby regional newspaper advertising appears
(Chris Morris Memo, 2/10/93).

1983 - Scoresby becomes 7th largest selling Scotch in the
United States (Chris Morris Memo, 2/10/93).

1987 - Highland Distillers merges with Fleischmanns Distilling
Co. (Chris Morris Memo, 2/10/93).

1989 - Glenmore acquires Fleischmanns. Scoresby becomes the
4th largest selling Scotch in the United States (Chris
Morris Memo, 2/10/93).

1990 - National advertising introduced for Scoresby (Chris
Morris Memo, 2/10/93).
