1942 Old Schenley Bourbon Question

I have two bottles of Old Schenley whiskey that I found during a home remodel. They have the seals and the Iowa state stamp on them. I am curious how much they are worth if anything and if there is someone who is interested in them for their collection. On the seals there is the year stamped 1942, I am not sure if this means they were sold in 1942 or bottled. Any information on these would be appreciated. Also, since they are 70 years old, would they be still safe to drink?
