Greg some of those bottles definitely have value. Most of us around here would definitely prefer you taste some of these fine old spirits and let us know what they are like, however if you aren't a consumer I would suggest going on Ebay and try to find a market value. The bourbon section I know well and most buyers there will give you the fair value for something. Hope this helps!

I certainly appreciate the information you provided. after I posted the above post i got to reading other post about asking for the value of items. so let me explain myself a little better for anyone else who may respond to my original post. like a lot of folks who have gotten their children raised and they have moved on and started their life. i have converted one of the rooms in my home into a "man cave". my intentions are to display these fine bourbon in this room. i enjoy a good bourbon. however i don't know that i have the heart to open something that has been preserved for 60 to 80 years. i think these bottles of bourbon will be a great conversation piece and i anticipate my friends will ask the question of how.much are these bottles worth. i don't intend to sell them. i think i am fortune to just have them. and again thanks for the responses i also appreciate the ebay information in the event i ever do decide to get rid of them. if possible i am going to attempt to put photographs on here as well
thanks again
Greg.
