This review is not really meant as a challenge to that posted by KettleOne. As we have all said so many times, taste is taste........ yours is yours and mine is mine......... but allow for taste to change. In the 6+ years I have participated in this site, I have noticed that people who seem to dislike 4RSB upon first taste very often come to appreciate it later

Mike, I didnt take your review that way at all. I do want to know what that distinct FR aftertaste is, tho. What do u think it is mike? Also, I bought the 121 proof not 100 proof version. Maybe the 100 proof is better.

121 pf??? Do you mean the FRSB LE at 55.1....or 110.2pf. I am a huge 4R fan so I love the FRSB and the LE version alike, but the LE has some extra alcohol taste to it....making it harder to get at the good fruit and spice and slight woody flavor.

Mike, this bottle was from a hand selected barrel for corona cigar in downtown orlando. It certainly was strong!

Wow, would have loved to sample that.......... I have some of the anniversary 4R bourbons at about 110 proof......... need a mite of water, but they were superb.
