what is a charged sherry butt like?

looking at old malt cask as none in standard.

charged sherry butt. 715 bottles.(eg. benneries 12)

this sounds american.

then there from 1 refil hogshed. (eg Douglas Laing Blair Athol 11)

basically what characteric should i expect and what from the lower or higher number

Are you just a troll? Most folks on this forum are in the US, and we really can't answer your incessant questions as there are many brands produced by the major spirits corporations that are only available overseas. While it's great that there are folks in Oz that are interested and even love American whiskey, there's no way of knowing whether the products are the same. Except maybe for JD.

You should seek out like minded individuals in your area and country to discuss the brands available to you.
