The Devil's Cut!

Unread postby bunghole » Fri Jul 22, 2011 6:28 pm

I don't see any listing to post a tasting on "The Devil's Cut", but that's OK. We can all just post out notes here. I'll need to go back and buy another bottle. I'd love to do this kind of 'semi-live'. As in set a date and time for a group tasting event. There will be some time delay and other latentcy issues, but we should be able to taste/drink through them. For some of my initial impressions, see my post in Bourbon, Straight.

Yes, I love my bottle of Devil's Cut--I salute the marketing prowess of Beam to try this --unlocking the imprisoned whiskey in all that great wood. How do you like it?

Clever handle. Beats "Speedy Brown 90 Recycled Enviro-whiskey" which is what I would have called it. Or marketing decided names with devel in them sell .00125% better than those that don't.
Taken the cure.

I really like Devil's Cut from Jim Beam. Came across it during a tour in the facility near the Bernheim Forrest and had several glasses as I was escorting strict Muslims in a place of the Devil and they passed their glasses to me. This put me in an excellent mood for the rest of the day. I recommend taking strict tea totalers with you anytime you visit a Distillery! The way to drink this is with just one drop of water to a healthy serving. Definitely not to be contaminated by ice, too much water or any other unwanted contaminants. One of my favorite Bourbons...
