Saw this bottle in my local PLCP for $25.00 and thought i'd give it a try. Anyone have any knowledge about this bottle. I noticed its not in our listings. I can post a pic later if people are interested.

If I recall correctly Julian has stated somewhere that he used to supply the whiskey for these bottles, and that it at least used to be the same as his FRR 13YO.

I believe originally it was Michter's distillate, just as the Hirsch bourbons. Henry Preiss of Preiss Imports (http://www.preissimports.com) owns the Hirsch labels, and I've found he generally is responsive to emailed requests for info. Just ask him.
I sure hope you found an original one.

I have an open bottle of this; I had a pour last night. Julian has said it was the same whiskey as in his VWFRR.

Tried some over the weekend. Stuff is pretty tasty, I may have to go back to the store and get some more. I'd even do a review of it if we had it in our list. Anything I can do to help get it on there?
