Mike, on my initial tasting I might have to agree with you. Yesterday I opened up and partook in the almighty PVW 15. I was hoping that it would be what everyone says it was, but it just didn't blow me away. I like the idea of wheated bourbons and I bought a bottle of this OWA and on first tasting it is really amazing. The vanilla and butter flavor of the oak stand out more in a pleasant way and the finish was smooth and warm. Maybe we shouldn't sing OWA's praises and just buy a bunch of bottles before people catch on. Thanks for you review, it really encouraged me to pick this up and enjoy it. Cheers.
