A couple of nights ago, I fired up one of the cigars I bought in Ybor City. The label says Orama hand made cigars. It comes from the folks that I had put up a previous link to. It was a very nice, smooth, mellow cigar. I enjoyed it along with a bit of Rebel Yell. Very nice combo.

Today, on the Bourbon Deck, I had a Padilla Corojo and a pour of the new Parker's Heritage 10 y/o Barrel Proof Wheater. Nice combination.

Joe, today I had the cigar you gave me when you were here with a pour of the new Four Roses Small Batch limited edition. Nice combination, good cigar.

This afternoon, whilst playing my guitar, I enjoyed a Punch Rare Corojo. I had wanted to try the Punch Gran Cru, but the Rare Corojo was recommended to me. Very smooth & mellow. Not sure about cigar flavors yet, but I know that I liked this one. The best cigar I've smoked to date. Ima gonna get more of these!

I also bought an Oliva Serie O. That'll be for another day. :)

Bob you've got that right! The funny thing about Punch Rare Corojo's is that they don't have a corojo wrapper at all! I've been told that they don't have ANY corojo tobacco in their blend at all, but I cannot confirm that. I do like them, and much like Partagas Spanish Rosado's they go very well with any bourbon.

Still experimenting. Just had an Oliva G. It was OK, but not overly to my liking at this point. Had a glass of Old Fitz 1849 while smoking it. I preferred the Flor de Oliva that I had earlier in the week. The price was much better too! Totally enjoyed a Nat Sherman smoke the other day though. Very smooth with a sweetness that was very nice.

I had myself an Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente and a dram of Dalmore Cigar Malt while enjoying a pretty nice afternoon. They were quite tasty together.

Yesterday I had a rather large (7 X 52) La Traviata Maduro (made by CAO). The cigar was pure perfection. So were the three double Bloody Marys I had with it.

Yesterday I had a Partagas Serie D No. 4 with a pour of the new Elmer T. Lee 15 y/o single barrel. Sheer Bliss.

Today is nice and sunny and 62 degrees. I just got some Sancho Panza Double Maduro La Manchas in from JR's. I have never had these before, but they look great and are your standard corona in size. I'm going to pair the La Mancha up with Four Roses Small Batch - 90 Proof. An excellent combo as each are almost the exact opposite of the other. They compliment each other well, and don't fight each other for attention. Civility in a world filled with violence.
