La Luna African Fuerte

I used to love these very rare perfectos, but I let them over-age. Now they're not nearly as good as they were a few years ago. Oh well! There are only two left.

That's too bad, how long have you had them? Usually the stronger cigars will age for many years - I take it an "African Fuerte" is a stronger cigar :) .

JH,

I've had them for about 10 years now. The African Fuerte refers to the very finely veined Cameroon wrapper. A very nice blend of tobaccos. Bold, but not too strong. They used to be very complex, but now have settled down to a single flavor dimension. They still taste and smoke good, just not with the excitement they used to have. A real pity.
