3rd Tasting: It's really calming down now from sitting for a month. I really think it's a good bourbon now, but I can't recommend that a person buy a new bottle for an occasion on the same day that it's bought. This puppy needs to sit and chill out for a while. Now, I'm starting to get some sweet wheat taste that was overpowered by the heat when I first opened it. Lots of flavors are starting to come out. Not bad at all.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this one. I purchased my bottle about a month ago, and was very disappointed with it at first. However, my opinion of it has completely changed after revisiting it a few times recently. It has the most amazing finish, like buttered popcorn! :D
