I have the same bottle open here and it's a choice pour. Give it some time to open once opened and vanilla will widen and tartness will taper off. You'll notice some Creme Broulee and pudding aromas starting to show. I could drink this for the rest of my life and never get bored. Although, it is sturdy upon opening. BB

Sure enough... Here it is just about June... I opened the ER17 in Feb and was fairly underwhelmed.

Well, poured a bit last night and tonight.. and I have to agree.. this stuff is fantastic :)

Pretty amazing. Gonna have to review it again.
Too much of anything is bad, but too much of good whiskey is barely enough.
