Here I am, a man on the scene

Here I am in Myrtle Bitch, Souse Carolina, availing my own self of a Michelob Beer (a rare event for me as I am usually far too sophisticated, snobbish, and full of rubbish to drink Bud beers).

All the same, I am a sipping a Winter Bourbon Cask Ale (with a vanilla bean thrown in for good measure) and finding it to my liking. It is quite malty and and has very light hops.

The bourbon barrel adds a touch of bourbon bite to offset the malt sweetness. The bourbon also seems to make the finish on this beer much on the dry side. Still, I recommend it as something to try because it is a different and interesting and you might like it even more than me, just as my friends here with me do.

In all honesty though, I doubt that I would buy it again.

A Mich and Vanilla Bean? Put an umbrella on that... the lastest I've gathered is that the Sam Adams Imperial Pilsner is one top-notch bottle. Looking....BB
