Three weeks ago I was visiting for a day on Nantucket. That night for supper at a restaurant they had only two Bourbons; WT80 & Maker's Mark. I asked them to give me one of each on ice to compare... Answer: I tossed the Maker's and drank the Turkey 80. It beat Maker's by a mile. Maker's was all Bass & Treble, no Mid's. WT80 was flavorful and full, right across the board. BB

Nice musical analogy..... was the WT the 80 or the 86.8.... if you liked teh 80, you'll love the 101

About Nantucket: One thing i forgot to mention about the Maker's/WT80 throwdown was that the Maker's was at the bottom of the bottle and probably had been sitting there all winter, untouched. My comments were not meant to dis Maker's, simply an objective critique at the time of tasting. And by the way - I heard that Maker's was currently out of production due to the shortage in corn and increase in grain prices. How is this going to affect the rest of the distiller's? Ain't good news... BB
