Wild Turkey Excursion

Unread postby Bourbon HQ » Sun Mar 16, 2008 11:08 am

Yesterday (Saturday) the Louisville Bourbon Society visited the Wild Turkey Distillery and had a wonderful tour and conversation with Jimmy Russell, Master Distiller. Thanks to all that made this happen. I've included some pictures.

Great pictures Gayle.

Yesterdays tour will now be impossible for me to top, but I look forward to trying!

Jimmy Russell was truly a great host and one hilarious individual indeed.

Thanks for posting the pictures Gayle. It was a great event for the Bourbon Society and I would say we picked a pretty good barrel of whiskey as well.

Mike,
Does that mean a barrel buy from Wild Turkey? Details (if possible)

The Bourbon Society is purchasing a barrel of Kentucky Spirit from Wild Turkey. We have not worked out all of the details yet, but we hope to have the bottles in 60 to 90 days.
