Wonderful review. It touches on something that so few do which is that the pleasure of bourbon goes far beyond the flavors and aromas of the beverage itself but to the atmosphere it creates, to it's unique history and to what it means to all of us. Cheers!

My 2nd favorite Bourbon

Howdy,

I'm new to Bourbon and am pretty much a "Beam man" at this point. For me WT 101 gives Jim Beam Black a very close run for the money in terms of taste. While it's flavor profile differs from Beam, (which I've acclimated to) I like it.
There's some Vanilla, some corn sweetness, alcohol burn and char. WT101 goes good in my Diet Coke, which is pretty much the only way I consume Bourbon.
