Summer Cooler

For those looking for a good cool drink on a hot summer day, I invite you to try the following recipe:

Take a tall glass and fill with ice cubes., Add about 3 oz. of 80 proof bourbon (Jim Beam White, Four Roses Yellow Label, Earky Times, Ancient Age, Wild Turkey 80, Very Old Barton 80, Evan Williams). Add the juice of 1/2 a lemon and fill with 7up or Sprite. Repeat as long as you are hot and thirsty.

Crank the AC; pretend it's fall and drink some George T. Stagg!

Or, put on a pair of shorts and go out under the shade tree with a nice low proof bourbon cooler.

Pretend the yard is mowing itself. Bourbon is good for that.

To mow or not to mow? Fetch me another bourbon, Whiskey!
