Excellent review, as always, Gary. I recently spent about 5 days helping an aged aunt and uncle on their farm as they come to terms with their infirmities (they are reluctantly giving up cattle ranching) and had only WT 101 to sip. I took no notes but enjoyed every drap I sipped. But I think I like the heaviness (to use you phrase) of the Tribute and KS more than you do.

Thanks Mike and just finished reading your post about the polarities of the American character as exemplified by (two of) its whiskeys, great stuff!

I fully agree with the review by gillmang. I just recently bought a bottle of WT101 after many years of drinking other types of spirits. I had forgotten how good it is. Soft, clean, and a little short is also what I get. But, very tasty and hard to beat for the price.
