John de Kuyper's Complete Guide to Cordials, John de Kuyper and Son. John de Kuyper & Son: New York, 1965, Contents, Index, Illustrated, 71 pp.

A small hard bound book that is designed to sell cordial spirits. It is still a very informative book with descriptions of the multitude of flavored spirits that make up the world of cordials and recipes for using these spirits in cocktails and food. There are full colored illustrations of many of the bottles and the cocktails or food used with the product. There is a section on outfitting your bar and preparing garnishes for the cocktails.

This book is a good one for a whiskey library because it helps define the other spirits to be used in cocktails. It is a very handy reference book and some of the food recipes look very interesting. It can add interest to a party.
