For you Wild Turkey lovers, on July 11th, The Bourbon Society of Louisville is participating in a BBQ sponsored by Wild Turkey. And it's going to be right here in my back yard! I can't believe it! Jimmy Russell himself will be here along with the usual suspects; Mike Veach, Shay Kirkpatrick, Randy and Lindsay Hammond (our current president), and other members. I'll shoot lots of pictures and post them if anyone is interested in seeing them. Hopefully Jimmy will do some bottle signing.

Well, we had the Wild Turkey backyard party yesterday and it was a great day. The rain held off, the catered food was excellent and Jimmy Russell brought some things to taste and was signing bottles for everyone. Here's a few pictures.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Russell about 2 months ago. He was extremely polite and went out of his way to sign several items for me and my wife. He is a true gentleman. I hope all of you enjoyed his visit.
