Greg Gilbert organized a 5 BiB bourbon blind tasting last night. It was held at Reid's house in Clifton Virginia. There were a lot of guys there and I finally got to meet Greg gilbert and Stoopsie. We all had a great time. Thanks to everyone involved in making this tasting a success. BTW Jake Parrot picked 'em all. Your humble writer only got 3 out of 5. Great bourbons and a great time and it's always nice to get together with "The Bunghole".

Looks like a fun time was had by all. What bourbons made the rounds at this tasting? Were there any winners to the bunch?

Jeff,
Things are a little hazy from that nite but there were five bourbons in the blind flight. AAA, 89 Dant, VOB, Old Fitz (KY-1), and ???? Like I said, a bit hazy. Jake Parrott got all five. I had 3 out of 5. Don't know about the rest of the gang. I do remember it was a great time though.

Great photo's Howie! I am glad that Bunghole, aka "*Do*Not*Delete*" was along for the mission. His superior tasting skills surely complemented all even this skilled group of spies. Even so, I did not see any real rough characters in the opponents mix. Maybe if some McCormick bonded or even some Old Crow disguised as a bonded whiskey would have made this a dangerous mission. As it was I would say your foes were all smooth operators with some good taste.
