Spring Bourbon Trip (Advice for KY?)

Hi all,
Some friends and I are planning a spring (March/April/May) trip to KY. I'll be able to page through past conversations for advice on places to visit overall, but I wondered if anyone knew of any fun local bourbon events that happen every year during one of those months that we could / should plan around. Not the Derby :)

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

Well, there's always the bourbon trail. You visit distillleries, take tours, have tastings. Then there's the Urban bourbon trail. You get a passport, visit local Louisville bars and get your passport
stamped. When it's fully stamped, you get gifts. t-shirt, coffee cup etc.

If you are staying in Louisville, feel free to give me a call and stop by the Filson Historical Society. If you have my book, I will be happy to sign it for you.

Thanks devilscut for the suggestion; we'll definitely be doing that, but were always wondering about any local, timely events. But the bourbon trail for sure :)

bourbonv - many thanks as well! I actually just finished your book two days ago while traveling. Couldn't put it down on back to back flights! Really enjoyed it; will definitely stop by.

There is the "Bourbon Sampler" in Bardstown the last weekend of April. Lots of people in town and a great time.
