Ed Foote donated to the Filson Film he recorded of Stitzel-Weller before it was shut down in 1991. The Filson is going to show the film and Ed is going to be here to make additional comments. This program will happen on Teusday, October 11 at 6:00 and there are still seats left. If you are interested and live in or near Louisville, call the Filson at (502) 635-5083. It is $20.00 for non-members and $15.00 for members. I know that Norman Hayden, who worked for Stitzel-Weller under the Van Winkles and was plant manager after the place was sold, is going to be there as well, so this is chance to talk with some real legends of the industry.

Diageo is also sponsoring the event with some Bulliet bourbon and rye and light food for the reception afterwards. Joy Perrine is going to do a bourbon cocktail as well.
