Classic Cask

Yesterday I spoke to Alan Shane from Spirit Imports that owns the Classic Cask label. He told me that they had just released a 13 year old bourbon. Just got it in today. Label says, "Batch GL-109 Distilled 1991, bottled 1994". It's 90.8 pf. Looks like around 726 bottles done. Haven't opened it, yet. Waiting for one of y'all to stop by and sample one with me! Mark? Bob? It's up there in price at $50. Let's put it to the test.

The Classic Cask line is moving to a different distributor so I freaked out and bought what few bottles of the 20 year Classic Cask bourbon that were left in NY.

Alan says no more 22 year rye, but that the new 21 will be bottled very soon.

Did y'all like the most recent bottlings? I know Alan Shayne personally and he sent me some samples of the last run to try. I personally did not care for it.
