Four Roses Private Selection video

Four Roses Bourbon is doing a Private Barrel Selection Program where you can select a barrel of your own bourbon from their 10 different recipes and have it bottled. We just joined Master Distiller Jim Rutledge and several gentlemen and filmed the process of selecting a barrel on this video link - http://www.bourbonblog.com/blog/2010/02 ... n-program/ . This experience with Rutledge was amazing and I believe they're getting around 150 or so bottles out of this.

Thanks for posting this video, I enjoyed it. You could almost say these guys really like bourbon, couldn't you? Interesting how it shows these guys have different favorites among the tasted bourbons and had to compromise to make a barrel selection.

That was fun to watch. Buying a barrel is a great experience, and this reminds me very much of the process at Buffalo Trace a number of years ago.
