Cincinnati Area Store Is Selling Rare Antique Van Winkle

I thought that there would be interest in this given the Van Winkle mania that currently exists. A liquor store in Covington Kentucky, which is directly across the Ohio River from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio is selling some very old bottlings of Van Winkle and a couple of other goodies. The store used to be the Cork 'n Bottle and has been around for 50 years. It was sold earlier this year and is now called Liquor City Uncorked. The family that used to own the store has this bourbon stored in the building's wine seller for over 30 years, and the new owners must have gotten it along with the store. There was an article earlier this year in our local paper about a legal battle over the whiskey, which evidently has been settled:

Here's a copy of their post about the bourbons and some pictures. There's 1967, 1968 and 1970 Van Winkle; 1959 Willett Old House Reserve; and 20 Year Hirsch available.

It doesn't look like the store has a website yet, but they have a new Facebook page here:
