If anyone is interested, the liquor barn (wheeling and niles, IL) just got a bunch of ecbp in stock (67.4% bottling). $50, and only 1 bottle per person. I know they ship (not sure where), or if you are in the area you can buy online and pick up at the store.

I had 2 bottles staring me in the face early Jan 2015, I passed because I did not know what it really was, and besides the 140 Proof kinda steered me away. This will not happening again. Hopefully I will get a bottle later this month.
Cheers!

Found a bottle at one of my local stores, the bastards are asking $120 for it!
They can keep it.

Unfortunately this expression tempts some sellers to use "whatever the traffic will bear" pricing. The upside though is we are getting a proven product at such a high proof that it's darn near two bottles for the price of one. Around here it's less than $50 (when you can find it) which is an incredible bargain considering what we're getting. For fans of long aged Bourbon this one's a winner.

i have batches 7 and 8 still unopened...have drank batches 2-6, never got the chance to try batch 1. a good alternative is stagg jr, which i think is a little more readily available

I've had several bottles of the first release, which I regard as one of the best 12 y/o bourbons I've ever had. Great stuff.

Minnesota just had a distribution of the barrel proof last month. Saw a bottle for $60 at my local G-Will at 63rd and Boone. Haven't decided if I'm going to pick one up yet. I've got one of the last bottles of the 12yr that they were selling and their expression of the NAS (Which I like quite a bit).
