Henry McKenna Single Barrel

I found a Henry McKenna Single Barrel that was barreled on 9/24/84. I've read that the McKenna SB was introduced in 1995. I guess that would make this one of the first bottlings. Does this mean then that the bourbon is this bottle is better than current bottles or nothing really special.

If you know anything about this let me know please. I picked up both bottles they had, and plan on doing a side by side with a more current bottle(if I can find one on LI, gotta get to LeNell's)

Heaven Hill has done a good job of keeping the flavor profile of their single barrel whiskeys consistant. It would be interesting to do a side by side, but I would bet there is not a whole lot of difference in the products.
