I had a customer ask me about Daniel Stewart bourbon. I spoke too soon and told him it didn't exist, then I found it listed on kybourbon.com. Never heard of it. Anybody have any idea what this is?

Most the references I see seem to indicate it's an export product. The Daniel Stewart Distillery Co. is not found in the KY Secretary of State's business database.

Whisky Portal (http://www.whiskyportal.com) credits it to Heaven Hill.

It is Heaven Hill; I have a label. I believe the brand was originally a Baltimore rye that HH purchased. They don't include it among the other purchased rye brands of which they are justifiably proud (Rittenhouse and Pikesville)
