Starting off with an initial taste of Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2012...Then probably a nip of Blanton's or Elmer T. Lee..

Gobble Gobble. Had a double Wild Turkey 101 on ice. Very good all around stuff. Not great, but priced right and nice on ice. Sam's Club handle for less than $40. 101 is no nonsense and hits hard.

Went out last night with family - had my usual "double Makers in the rocks". Got home and my buddy a couple of doors down wanted to sit out back and have a cigar - no problem.

I grabbed a few stogies out of the humidor, he brought a bottle of Woodford Reserve. I think I finally got to bed about 0030.

I'm getting too old for this :)

Heading out for a drink later on with a good friend, that is if i can take a nap might try a old fashioned with knob creek or another manhattan. Either way some KS fits the rain here so it will do.

Two fingers of Elijah Craig 12 year small batch is always fantastic.

Drank out of two different bottles of OLD FITZ BiB tonight. One was barreled in 67 and bottled in 74, It was wonderful and had a sherry like raision taste. The other was 1/2 year younger but had the old timey in your face S-W mouthfeel. I liked them both but gave the nod to the second one.
All were DSP-KY-16, both BiB's
