Taking off on the Top Ten Whiskeys for Christmas list that only contained one Bourbon.....
We need to come up with our own Top Ten Bourbons For Christmas List
I think the list should contain a mix of Bourbons that would suit a newby and some that would please an enthusiast.
Think of this as a list that someone might accidently leave on the computer screen in case SANTA should see it. Or printed out and left for SANTA to see. A list containing bottles that someone might be able to pick up at a well stocked liquor store. A list that might help someone decide what to get a co-worker or relative.
Not limited to brands that are only in saturated national distribution but not containing any rarities either.
Start with the best "gateway" Bourbons and finishing with the higher priced enthusiast offerings.

Top Ten Ryes - because I felt bad leaving these out of the Bourbon list

I would add, Bookers and Knob Creek, I know they are Beam, but I like them. I would also add AH Hirsch 22 YO to the Rye list, and AH Hirsch 16 YO to the bourbon list.

All worthy of being on a Christmas list for sure - In fact I had Bookers on mine but wanted to give Stagg and Weller their own line instead of just saying BTAC - so the Bookers dropped out.

I'm not sure this would necessarily qualify as the top 10, but it'd certainly be a nice list.

I did. I was just going to put the whole antique collection in one slot but I figured that would be cheating so I just added what I wanted from this years offerings.
