ETL would not make my stranded on a island list but may I suggest you approach it more as an aperitif. I find its lighter green fruit flavors but definite dash of pepper spice makes it one of the few whiskeys that can prime the palate for food to come. I'd at least put it towards the front of the line in any night of sippin through a few different whiskeys. It is certainly towards the lighter side of how many bourbons taste but can be quite enjoyable in the right occasion.

My Abraham Bowman rye was delivered from Party Source yesterday, and I have two bottles of Angel's Envy on the way....can't wait to try these!
Damn they would only send me one of the Angels Envy but also got handles of VOB BIB and Bulleit and 1792 and a bottle of the Bulleit rye with it

I found three EWSB 2000's... so, I bought them all. So far, I'm not liking the 2001 nearly as well.

Bookers - I found the same batch(Batch #C03-I-16) that Jason of Sour Mash Manifesto thought was outstanding and wanted to give it a pour. Initial thought - Excellent.
EWSB 2000 - Some of the Barrels in the 2000 are very tasty.
RI 1 - Was onsale for $19.95 and thought it would let me taste it side by side with the couple of other rye whisky's I have
Rowan's Creek Small Batch - Just wanted to taste this one.
Thomas H Handy Straight Rye - Received a lot of pub and while I am generally not a rye whisky guy I wanted to know what a great rys whisky tasted like. Initial thought - Peppery strong smooth. Starting to grow on me the more I pour it.
William Larue Weller - A bit expensive but one of my favorite Whisky's that I can never seem to get enough of. Super Tasty. Might be my favorite whisky more sampling is needed.

Found a new, tucked away in plain sight liquor store and they have handles of Old Charter 8 for $18.99 so I picked up 2. It's the old label with a clock face. I find it a little oakier not as clean as the current iteration and perhaps the viscosity is thinner, nothing off about it, it's still very drinkable. My other, normal liquor store I'm digging around and there are 2 bottles of EW 1783 small batch 750s tucked behind the normal 1783. I have the counter person scan it and it's the same price as normal 1783, I point out the difference but the counter says they are the same so I pick them up. I haven't seen these before maybe it is just a new label/package with a fancy closure? These are bunker'd until I find out more about them.

For comparison, tasting, sipping and investigating possible {Short Stack} bunkering brands I picked up the following bottom shelf 750s; Ancient Age, McAfees Benchmark 8 and Early Times. Not disappointed in these at all. They're not great, they're not bad, they're different.

A bottle of Four Roses small batch. Adding a few nice bottles to the collection. Tasting sometime soon.

Jumbo 1.75 l of WL Weller SR for only $21.99, good enough on the rocks, fine in soda for those that do that.

I just came home with a bottle of Willett Reserve Single Barrel. I had a little sample and it was just OK, but I'll be getting more familiar with the bottle later tonight.

Bourbon Killer, i would love some feedback on your opinion of this Bourbon. I can get a bottle but have been putting it off. I bought two bottles of the Tradition which I absolutely love. Looking forward to your feedback (or to anyone else's who has tried this)

I didnt buy anything myself. My girlfriend, however, brought me a PVW15. She prefers the PVW20 over the PVW15 but she was thinking about me.
