not a fan of this stuff neat, the 8 and 10 year are good.
In my mind this is in the realm of Fighting Cock (but not as good).

very reasonable assertion......i keep comparing back to back shots of FC and Charter101 against each other. theyre very similar in both taste, proof, and price. Charter 101 may have a bit more intensity of flavor, but FC has a bit more of the 'burn' (gums, not the throat). both are what i enjoy in a good whiskey, so im still at a tie on which i prefer. FC is a lot easier to find around louisville though
