Back At The Hotel

Unread postby Frezo » Fri Dec 21, 2007 10:31 pm

Tonight has found me back in Seekonk, MA at a hotel with a co-worker. He's a young guy that is not proficient at the art of Bourbonizing. I poured him a copious amount of Buffalo Trace and he proceded to shoot it all at once. "Hey dude! That's not right." He gets it now, but of course has issues picking out subleties. He's coming along though. The store had a bottle of Van Winkle Lot B, so it is sitting aside the BT. This stuff is expensive! Good thing the Christmas bonus was generous. In a word it's luscious, very complex and has an extensive finish. The char flavor is present, but it's like charred fruit.

Thank you all very much!
Merry Xmas, Happy New Year and
may your next pour be your best!
