Parker's Heritage Collection

Unread postby Bourbon HQ » Fri Oct 05, 2007 5:18 pm

I just bought a bottle of Parker's Heritage collection at Party Mart in Louisville for $76.99 and it is, in my opinion, excellent. I'm not an expert at tasting notes, but it has a fine leather, vanilla, butterscotch nose. A vanilla nutty, fruity taste, with a long finish and no alcohol burn. It's 11 years old and 122.6 proof. I tried it neat and then added distilled water to proof it down to 95 proof. Both were very good.

Gayle, thanks for the heads up. I have a few on hold for me in Lexington (road trip and meetings in Louisville) I will pick them up on my way down in 2 weeks. It's good to hear HH is putting out a premium product to appease the market :)

Thanks,

Tony

Tony, if you come through Louisville and have the time, maybe we can meet for a drink.

Gayle, I have a lunch scheduled at the Bistro on Friday the 19th at 2:00 if you can attend? I am making a trade with a gentelman from one of the other sites.

I feel the more the merrier! so if you can get there I be at the bar.

Parker Heritage

On my way to a wedding in KY this last weekend, I stopped off in Louisville and met up with a fellow enthusiast who picked up two bottles for me. In addition, I also acquired 4 bottles of the Four Roses 40th Anniversary.
