Ive seen it showing up lately, and have wanted to try it, but.......at $21 and no age statement, it is exactly twice the cost of my regular and well-enjoyed 6 year age stated HH BIB, methinks its priced out of its own ballpark.

Yes, the price is a bit off putting, though I must applaud their emphasis on the word Bonded boldly displayed on the label.

Found a bottle of the new Bonded Beam, price was $19.99 plus tax.
I tried it with some Evan Williams BIB white label.
When I compare the two, Bonded Beam has a good bit more oak and spice on the nose and taste and it's less sweet.
No age statement on the bottle but for bonded whiskey it has to be at least 4 years old.
Not too bad.

I purchased two bottles in Kentucky two weeks ago. Have yet to open one, but still have not been able to find it locally.

Also purchased two bottles of Jim Beam "Choice" but not exactly sure what it is. Something I've never seen before... Is it new or just something that maybe is not offered in Indiana?

Beam Choice has been around for quite awhile as a slightly higher age/proof version of the standard JBW. Don see it on shelves that often though.
