Well, Joe (and his tasting buddies), I have been less than enthusiastic about 1782 on three occasions. But because I know Joe knows bourbon, I pulled out the mostly full bottle of 1792 and gave it a sip again........this, even before the sun was over the Yard Arm (still in the morning).

I still can't get it on 1792, it is a good bourbon to be sure, but somehow it doesn't crank my tractor. I tried to identify what it is that is the problem or what is lacking and can't quite specify what it is. Neither the nose nor the taste set my little factory humming, certainly not like OGD BIB does. Who can say if 1792 and I were subjected to a blind tasting........I might come out the fool again!

Guess this just points out once again that folks have different tastes!
