New bourbon

Unread postby Bourbon HQ » Thu Nov 09, 2006 3:45 pm

Here's a new bourbon aimed at a younger consumer market. It's called 80 Strong. It is 80 proof. I just bought it for $25.99 in Louisville. Haven't tried it yet, but will tonight.
Sorry about the sidways photo.

Hi Gayle, here's an old thread talking about 80 strong. Michael Kanbar, the founder and owner of 80 Strong, posted in the thread once so you can try pm'ing him too if you have any questions of your own

I have a bottle. It's not awful. If you like it, next time you can buy the Evan Williams black label directly for half the price, or less.

The marketer is Michael Kanbar but KBD produced it, most likely using HH whiskey.
