More Barrel Heads ...

Unread postby MikeK » Wed Jun 07, 2006 8:20 pm

Some of you know that I have a peculiar habit of bringing barrel heads home with me whenever I visit Kentucky. (in addition to lots of bottles)
I like to finish them up all nice and pretty and hang them around the house.

I added a couple more to my collection this spring and wanted to show them off, so here you go...

Anyone else collect odd whiskey related items?

Cheers,

Your barrel heads and JD barrel bar are very cool!

Although we don't actively seek out whiskey related items on Ebay or anything, we're suckers for odd or interesting whiskey paraphernalia when we run across it. Some odds and ends that have found their way into our whiskey room include:

An Ancient Age model helicopter
A JD barrel + barrel head
A JD bar stool and bar mat
A very small wall mounted Old Crow bird cage
George Dickel fishing lures
An Old Granddad camera (not working)
An Old Granddad lamp made out of an OGD shade & a 1.75L bottle
A Jim Beam lamp made out of a 1.75L bottle
A Jim Beam clock (in need of repair)
A Jim Beam mirror
A WT mirror
A Fighting Cock keychain

Our favorite is a hand made metal rooster Tina's dad gave us - the "body" is a Fighting Cock bottle.
