Would you consider Evan William's to be sweeter than say Makers Mark?

Thanks!

Weller's Special Reserve?

Probably Special Reserve, but then again it's still pretty subjective. Larceny is fairly sweet to me, it would be right up there with Weller Special Reserve. My advice would be to buy all the whaters you can and try them all. Start with the cheapest and work your way up. Even if they aren't as sweet as you like they will probably work very well in cocktails like an Old Fashioned or in soda.

Thank you.
I"d prefer to not buy them all as I'm sort of strapped. But I'd be interested in trying a few.

I realize part of this is personal opinion, but do you consider those that have been mentioned to be sweeter than Makers Mark? I'm trying to form a spectrum in my mind.

I find Larceny and the Weller line to be sweeter than standard Makers. You could almost buy a bottle of each for the cost of one Makers.

Thank you. Would you consider Larceny and Weller to be sweeter than say Conecuh Ridge or as it is now known as " Clyde May's Conecuh Ridge [Alabama Style] Whiskey"

I've heard from several people its very sweet.

Thank you!

I had often thought Makers Mark was never quite as "sweet" as most proclaimed :)

Thank you!

I suggest you get a standard Bourbon (Evan Williams will do) and add sweet elements until you get the cocktail you like.

Thank you, but no thank you. I'm not after a cocktail.

One of the sweetest bourbons I've had recently is Early Times 354.

Try Larceny, it is a wheater and will be sweeter. My issue with MM is it feels drab on the palate but thats just me.
