Attached are today's bourbon tasting results. Somehow I think that "Vatman" is influencing members of our group. Two vattings today, one of which won an earlier tasting and takes the kudos again today.

I thought it interesting that the favorite seems to be a "4 grain" product with Maker's Mark and Geo. T Stagg - wheated and traditional grain bourbons. Maybe that is a secret to a four grain recipe - mix them after distillation. Of course I would like to see Buffalo Trace take some wheated bourbon white dog and some traditional bourbon white dog, mix them together and redistill them at Virginia Gentleman.
