Old Taylor 80 pf.

Unread postby billstill » Sun Apr 02, 2006 9:01 pm

I have darnk many 80 pf bourbons in the last 30 years. I'm always searching for the perfect daily pour. (I already have my preferred 90 pfs. for the special pour).
Currently I am enjoying Old Taylor 80 pf and find it to have an excellent nose and flavor. Flavor being better than nose...
I can't buy Old Taylor in my state so must drive 2 states away to Montana to buy it. I make the trip about 3 times a year.
Sure would like your opinions on Old Taylor 80 pf.

If you look in the reciews, you will see that I recently added a review of the 80 proof Old Taylor that I did for the Bourbon's Bistro. It is a decent bourbon but a little too thin and watery for my taste. I thought it was a much better product ay 86 proof or as a bonded bourbon.
