McKendric Western Style ?

Unread postby MikeK » Mon Jan 09, 2006 8:34 pm

Has anyone tried this bourbon and/or have an opinion? I was checking out the stock list of a store near my sister (looking for late xmas hints) and I saw this one. I have never heard of it, but it is listed on LeNell's site as well.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks, Mike

I had some while at LeNells once and it wasn't for me. Some may really like it but for drinking I found it unpleasant. Too much mesquite in there... Maybe for cooking it would be really good; Chicken I think would really get kicked up by it, even pork, but like I said for drinking... :?

Thanks for your thoughts Mark. Mesquite? That's just not right ....
Sounds like a great marinade though.

I heard that it even flopped when cooking with McKendricks. I personally thought it an interesting experiment, but I would not purchase a bottle.
