I have this problem as well. I have 17 bourbons and 6 single malts, all of them open. I had up to 30 bourbons at one point, but I've been working harder on drinking than buying as of late

Whisky will oxidize, I've seen it happen, but it takes a long time (years) and doesn't bother me enough to notice. There's a greater chance though I'll drain the bottle long before then.

The only whiskey I've ever noticed was Lagavulin 16 losing some of its mighty flavor in the last 1/4 after 4-5 months. Never noticed it with bourbon
