W. L. Weller Special Reserve Single Barrel Select

Unread postby JLH3 » Tue Jul 23, 2013 8:58 pm

Went to a local "high-end" grocery store in town that is known to carry some very nice wines and spirits (AJ's). There I found a table of W. L. Weller Special Reserve Single Barrel Select. Listed at 90 proof and priced at $18/bottle.

Considering you can't find any W.L. Weller in town right now, I'm very interested in trying this.

If you enjoy Rebel Yell, you'll love this.
Even if you don't care for Rebel Yell, you'll probably like this better than most other 90 proofers out there.
My opinion; your mileage may vary.

I'm a fan of this bourbon. It's not as great as the old weller antique but it is still a very nice bourbon for the price.

Can't speak for it now but 20 years ago we bought it by the case.
